Jika kamaren pengumuman nominasi untuk film yang terburuk, kali ini adalah nominasi untuk film-film terbaik. Ya, apalagi kalau bukan perebutan piala Oscar, 82nd Annual Academy Award.

Oscar tahun ini memang sedikit beda, contohnya adalah pada nominasi pada kategori Best Picture. Dimana yang biasanya hanya 5 nominasi yang berebut untuk jadi film yang terbaik, kali ini diisi oleh 10 nominasi. Waw…

Persaingan yang sangat ketat adalah antara Avatar dan The Hurt Locker yang masing-masing memperebutkan 9 nominasi. Keduanya juga bersaing dalam penghargaan tertinggi yaitu Best Picture dan Best Director. Walau dalam 2 kategori itu udah direbut Avatar pada penghargaan sebelumnya, The Golden Globes Award (yang katanya dipercaya sebagai bocorana Oscar).  Hmmm kita tunggu ya, mana yang terbaik di antara keduanya.

Apakah anda berharap film-film favorit anda mendapatkan pengahargaan yang terbaik? Jangan katakan itu jika ternyata film favorit anda masuk dalam nominasi The Golden Raspberry Award. Karena dalam penghargaan ini, yang terpilih mendapatkan piala ada yang terburuk.

Ternyata, artis yang baru saja memenangkan penghargaan Golden Globes sebagai Best Performance Actress dan kabarnya yang juga dijagokan  sebagai aktris terbaik Oscar tahun ini untuk The Blind Side ini juga masuk dalam kategori terburuk lewat filmnya All About Steve.

So, kita tunggu pengumuman pemenangnya, apakah Sandra Bullock akan mendapatkan 2 piala yakni terbaik dan terburuk dalam tahun yang sama?

Siapa yang bilang film akan sulit untuk sukses secara award dan komersial? Mungkin sebagian orang percaya, tapi tidak untuk James Cameron. Paling tidak terbukti untuk Titanic dan Avatar deh.

Goden Globes tahun ini, film besutan sutradara yang selalu membuat film mahal, James Cameron, mendapatkan posisi tertinggi Best Motion Picture – Drama dan Best Director. Yup, James Cameron emang top deh.

Prediksi untuk unggulnya dua film berjudul UP ternyata melesat. Hanya UP yang menang di kategori Best Animated Feature Film. Up In The Air harus ngalah dengan Avatar untuk film Drama terbaik. Hmm keknya memang harus begitu. Hehe
